Peanut Delight

I decided to rebrand the Aldi created brand Peanut Delight. I chose to rebrand this product because I thought the original logo and packaging looked out of date. My main goal was to give the brand a higher quality look to align with Aldi’s promise of high quality products. I kept the peanut shape included in the logo but changed the colors to natural colors to match the type of nut butter. I also added a reduced opacity pattern in the background to add another element to the design. Beside is a picture of the current design vs my new design.

These are my three final label designs. I ended up creating a pattern on each label and turning the opacity of the pattern down to only 40% so I had visual hierarchy. I chose to use neutral colors and not the bright red and blue that was originally used. I think this gives the product a natural, healthier feel. For the logo I chose the a serif type face in bold because I wanted it to stand out on the label. For the labels, I also chose a serif typeface because I thought the typeface looked professional but not too serious because of the curling serifs.
