Tame Impala Magazine Spread
This is a magazine spread I created on the artist Tame Impala. I drew inspiration from his music which is a mix of psychedelic rock, indie, and electronic music. I saw Tame Impala live and would describe his show as immersive and psychedelic. The lights and displays on the screen were colorful and created an interactive experience which I wanted to bring through my magazine spread. Below are my initial sketches and colorful mood board with colors and textures that reflect his groovy, vibrant vibe.

To start this project I created a mood board for my design which captured the colorful, psychedelic feel of Tame Impalas music. I knew I wanted to bring this to life through my magazine.
I was inspired by my mood board and from there created my initial sketches of my spreads. I tried to create designs that reflected Tame Impalas groovy vibe.
